This group was set up in 2011. Since then there have been 39 walks and over 100 individuals have joined the group. The purposes of this group are to:
- Meet other people
- Find out more about our immediate surroundings
- Exercise, gently, in the company of others

Walks take place on Saturdays or Sundays, each month from September to May. Basically, they are run for the benefit of Gata Residencial residents and their guests.

A programme of dates is published at the end of August and details of each walk are published a week or so beforehand. The walks generally last 1 to 1 ½ hours.

The walks are based on Gata, Jesus Pobre, Pedreguer, Ondara and Lliber. Our favourite “magic mountain”, Montgó usually provides a back drop to our walks which are generally quite gentle. However they are over a variety of terrains but mostly on roads and country paths. There are few climbs.
Walkers do so at their own risk, so they should read each walk description to ensure that it is suitable for their own level of fitness.
