SUMMARY OF MEETING
- GARDENING OF OVERGROWN AREAS
The council workers are continuing to clear the weeds below the trees then following up with spraying weed killer. The workers will be working 1 day week at the present time. Louise raised the issue that only about 5 olive trees had been cleared of the bottom shoots, and provided photo evidence. Toni replied he would speak to the relevant team.
Phase 2. Trees, Parks and clearing of vegetation on the wooden steps
Toni told us that they have appointed an outside company, he is meeting with them on Saturday to discuss plan of works
- NOTICE BOARD AND SIGNAGE
Notice board has been ordered; when it is ready to be put in place they will contact us.
All signage is being dealt with by one company, hopefully in one month’s time we will have some of the signs in place.
- POLICE ISSUES
The speed bumps at the top exit were installed on the initiative of the Pedreguer. Toni has raised his and our concerns. Pedreguer Police have advised Toni they are monitoring the situation.
POST BOXES FOR GATA PARK
Toni has had a meeting with the correos they have said that it would be better providing a new boxes nearer M17, for that Manzana. Talks are in progress.
- COMPOSTING SCHEME
This will be going ahead but later in the new year
- COCK ROACH SPRAYING
Toni advised all areas have been sprayed now. I have requested a check sheet of all areas.
- COURT CASE
The court case has been heard. The council has lost the appeal. The court’s decision is for the council to pay Bertolin 50,000 euros, which Council will pay so they can progress. This money will not come out of the AVAL money. I am hoping in December when we next meet with Toni we will be able inform you of their next steps.
