Support Volta a Peu – Sunday 15th March

On Sunday 15th March, Gata is hosting their leg of the 10km Marina Alta running circuit. The race begins in the village at 10am and, for the first time, the route will take the runners up the back road of Gata Residencial. Please see attached map of the full route.

The 5 km half way point will be at the bend on the back road and the local athletics association is looking for any collaboration / volunteers to hand out water to the participants.

If you are interested in helping please let Angie know by private email or what’s app (627191641) etc. If you can’t commit but find yourself at a loose end that morning, please take a walk down the back road and give the runners your support, cheering them on as they reach the 5km mark!!!

The Marina Alta circuit is a very popular race attracting hundreds of participants who will be glad of some local support.
