If you are involved in a traffic accident bear in mind the following recommendations:
~ In the first place one has to avoid making the situation worse. Take any precautionary measures necessary for you and your passengers, and warn other users of what has happened. Take the keys out of the ignition. Avoid smoking, using lighters etc., within the vicinity of the accident. Advise the police immediately by telephone (112, 629722638, and 965757432).
~ In case of an injury try to move them as little as possible, avoid pulling them and keep them sheltered, await the arrival of the emergency services.
~ When the Authorities arrive they will take measures to prevent secondary injuries if they were to happen and they will facilitate the completion of any necessary paperwork, accident forms, etc.
~ If any information related to the incident is required, please present yourself at our offices. (Policía Local) in C/ Duquessa Almodovar Nº 3.
If you are a witness to a traffic accident:
~ If you have been a witness in attendance at the accident make yourself known to the Police who are dealing with the incident.
~ Remember to cooperate with the police in order to clarify the facts. Your help can, in many cases, save lives.
