The document has been put on the website and will be updated.

  1. Site adoption (meeting held on 20th September)

A summary of this meeting has been distributed. The purpose of the meeting was to re open             the lines of communication with the town council. Some members have approached Louise Kirkley and said that they feel this is not enough. The committee makes no apology for this. Ongoing issues were raised at the meeting and our lawyer Guillermo was very firm. There is a hope for further meetings and Louise will make future appointments.

Guillermo is still pursuing the legal issues.

The committee is doing it’s best, but has limited power. We will try to proceed amicably as it was felt that if we stamp our feet we may be cut out of communication altogether.

Louise Kirkley stated that the meeting on 20th September was productive. We had the opportunity to reiterate our concerns and frustrations.

It was stated that the court appeal process could take 1 to 2 years or more before it is resolved.

The AVAL was once again discussed this issue was raised at the meeting and Guillermo is pursuing this issue.

We are still waiting for an answer as to what works need to be completed and how much this will cost. We are also waiting for a breakdown of the AVAL.

There was a suggestion that the mayoress should have a copy of our minutes from the meeting Angie Dickinson will e mail them to her.

Louise Kirkley, Peter Bayliss and Angie Dickinson have been thanked for their work so far.

  1. Instancia reporting

Should any individuals have any issues of potential danger they need to submit an instancia  ie wooden steps, street lights not working etc. it was recommended that people take photos to pass to the town hall and that copies be sent to Louise Kirkley or Peter Bayliss so a record can be kept for future meetings.

Louise Kirkley has submitted an Instancia for the street lighting on Garrofers and Ametlers as the lights have been out for several weeks. This issue also needs householders on the effected roads to put in an Instancia to highlight the safety and security issues.

The association cannot raise instancias for other people. We will ofcourse help, but we need the complainant to raise the instancia and send us a copy for the records so that we can refer  to specific issues when necessary with the council.

A copy of the general Instancia will be put on the website for individuals to download.

With regard to the rotting bins Louise Kirkley has raised an Instancia with Sol Gata along with photos. Anne Williams confirmed they have been cleaned.

Peter Whitbread asked if it was possible for the association to purchase a petrol strimmer to assist with ongoing clean ups. It was agreed that Peter Whitbread will ask the council if the use of the strimmer would be allowed then further discussion can take place.
